This portfolio is a simple showcase site. It has no comments, no accounts, no e-commerce,. This page describes the small amount of data the site does handle.

Contact

The contact button on this site opens your own email client with an address already filled in, or copies that address to your clipboard. Nothing is submitted to this site or stored by it; the message goes directly from you to Nirmal, the same as emailing him from any address book.

Projects

Projects are copyrighted by the relevant agencies, companies and brands. Some projects or concepts are designed by Nirmal, or are wholly his own personal projects, eg, the Visual Diary and derived projects, which was started well before Nirmal’s design career started. 

Password-protected case studies

Some case studies are password protected, as most of the work shown is client-confidential. If you enter a password, WordPress sets a cookie in your browser so the site remembers you have unlocked that page; it holds no personal information and simply expires.

Fonts

This site can load or display typefaces made by Nirmal. This website can also utilise fonts from Google Fonts. Loading these makes a request to Google’s servers, which may log your IP address and browser information as part of that request. Google’s privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Analytics

Standard analytics scripts are used to help track and understand usage and page visits. This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and move through it. It sets cookies in your browser and collects information such as the pages you view, your approximate location, and your browser and device type. This is used only to see which work is being looked at, never to identify you personally. Google’s privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Server logs

Like most websites, the hosting server automatically logs basic technical information for every visit, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is standard server administration and security practice, and is not used to identify individual visitors.
